Kaya File Transfer offers a method and specialist capability to move huge amounts of data reliably, at low cost and at speeds never thought possible using an innovative array of secure, proven and recognised security and file transfer protocols.

Kaya File Transfer does not require specialist client side software or large packet network to run over and therefore there is no software licensing cost. Our service is a pure commodity service, which transfers data from one place to another or makes the data available online nearby the consumer of the content for download. The source data can be in any format, on any file-system with no size or volume limitations. Kaya File Transfers’ method will transfer the data by atomizing it down to its binary bits and pieces and recreating the exact binary arrangement at the destination, thereby exactly re-creating the source data with no risk of corruption. Should an interruption occur during the transfer; our unique method will simply pick up wherever it left off.

File Transfer Africa has high speed, high capacity, fibre Internet connectivity in Claremont Cape Town and coupled with the method which has been developed, the file transfer speeds which are being seen are exceptional and sustainably over 20,000KBps which is the same speed as 20x 10Mbps fibre Internet links or 2x 100MBps local area connections like a typical corporate company have as their internal network. Practically this means copying data internationally from Africa at speeds comparable to working off a file server at the office or copying data off a USB hard disk to your desktop.  
 

TERMS & CONDITIONS

•    Data will be stored for the duration of the job and only be guaranteed to be stored for an additional 7 days

     unless specifically arranged by the Reseller. Longer term storage can be arranged on request but will cost R1/Gb/day.

•    File transfer speeds from SA to global locations where Amazon has a presence are guaranteed to be between

     500Mb/min – 1Gb/min with the target being 1Gb/min (60Gb/hour).

•    There is a fair use policy around the number of allowed downloads from the FTA servers in Amazon;

     an indicative guideline would be up to 3 downloads of the same uploaded file by different clients.

     Bandwidth outside of this fair use guideline will be billed at R10/Gb. The Reseller will be billed for these

     additional downloads at R10/Gb and it will be their responsibility for them to reclaim the money from the client.

•    No jobs will be started without completing a "Job Card" downloadable above.
